San Diego’s Petco Park is gearing up for the 2024 baseball season with exciting new food and beverage offerings. Despite slipping to the No. 2 spot in USA Today’s list of the best baseball stadiums in America, Petco Park continues to be renowned for its exceptional food and beer selection.

As the San Diego Padres’ season kicks off, more than a dozen local food purveyors are returning, joined by three new vendors. Gelati & Peccati, a beloved South Park restaurant, will be opening a second location of its Roman pizza slice shop and gelateria in the Mercado area of the Main Concourse on Field Level. The menu will feature traditional Margherita, meat lovers, and vegetarian pizza options, alongside authentic Italian gelato made with premium ingredients.

Another exciting addition is An’s Athletic Field Services, a spinoff of An’s Dry Cleaning, renowned for its quirky business and flavor names. The ballpark outlet will offer four unique ballfield-inspired gelato flavors, including Chalk, a vegan lemon and almond sorbet, Silt, a combination of cookie butter gelato and crumbled Biscoff shortbread cookies, Clay, featuring Nutella gelato with brownie bites, and Sand, a mix of Madagascar vanilla gelato and locally made fig jam. Additionally, An’s classic horchata-inspired gelato, Cotton, will also be available.
