    Olof Persson to Succeed Gerrit Marx as CEO of Iveco Group in July 2024

    Olof Persson is set to take over as the CEO of Iveco Group, succeeding Gerrit Marx, starting in July 2024. The announcement was made by the Board of Iveco Group N.V., stating that Persson, currently an Independent Director on the Board, will assume the role when Marx departs to become the CEO of CNH Industrial N.V. on July 1, 2024.

    Suzanne Heywood, Chair of Iveco Group, expressed gratitude to Gerrit Marx for his leadership and welcomed Olof Persson, highlighting his industry experience and role in the company’s recent plans. Persson, in response, praised the company’s progress in embracing digital opportunities and alternative propulsion technologies, emphasizing his commitment to stakeholders and organizational growth.

    Gerrit Marx acknowledged Persson’s contributions and mentorship, citing his confidence in the company’s future under Persson’s leadership. Persson’s extensive career includes roles at ABB, Bombardier Transportation, Volvo Group, and Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company, before joining Iveco Group’s Board in 2022.

    The transition in leadership is anticipated to maintain the company’s momentum, with Marx scheduled to present the first quarter financial results in May 2024. Iveco Group N.V., known for its diverse brands and business solutions, continues its mission to drive innovation and progress.
