LAS CRUCES, N.M. – In recognition of Black History Month 2024, NM State athletics will be spotlighting its rich history of African-American student-athletes, coaches, and administrators from all of Aggie sports throughout the month of February.

Each day through the month of February, different African-American Aggie greats will be highlighted on the Aggies’ main Facebook (NM State Aggies), Twitter (@NMStateAggies), and Instagram (@NMStateAggies) pages.

Additionally, Aggie Athletics will collaborate with New Mexico State University’s Black Programs and the Black Student Association to bring Black History to life.

On Thursday, Feb. 15 at the Women’s Basketball game against Middle Tennessee at the Pan American Center, NM State Athletics will honor and recognize African-American Aggie greats. The event will feature special presentations and activities to celebrate the contributions of African-American student-athletes, coaches, and administrators at NM State University.
