Nintendo Expands Switch Online N64 Library with Extreme-G and Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls

Nintendo has expanded its Switch Online service’s N64 library with the addition of two new titles this week. The futuristic racer Extreme-G from 1997 and the racing game Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls from 1998, both originally published by Acclaim Entertainment, are now available to Switch Online + Expansion Pack members.

Extreme-G offers players the thrill of speeding through 12 futuristic racetracks on battle bikes equipped with weapons. With the option for local split-screen multiplayer or online play, up to four players can compete for victory. On the other hand, Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls presents a unique racing experience where players control spherical characters through vertical races on towering tracks, dodging enemies and obstacles along the way. This game also supports multiplayer for up to four players, providing an exciting competition for friends.

In addition to these new additions, Blast Dozer (Rare’s Blast Corps) was included in the Japanese release this week, expanding the N64 library for local players. These updates bring more variety and excitement to the Switch Online service, catering to fans of classic N64 games.

With the continuous updates and expansions to the Switch Online library, Nintendo aims to provide a diverse selection of games for players to enjoy. The addition of Extreme-G and Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls offers both nostalgia and fresh gaming experiences for Switch Online subscribers, inviting them to relive classic titles or discover new favorites.
