Nightingale Game to Hold Public Stress Test Ahead of Early Access Launch

Nightingale, the neo-Victorian survival game developed by Aaryn Flynn’s Inflexion Games, is set to hold a public stress test on Friday, offering players a glimpse into the game’s early access launch.

The stress test, scheduled to run for three hours, will take place on February 2, with access granted starting at 10 am MT/12 pm ET and servers going live at 11 am MT/1 pm ET. The test will conclude at 2 pm MT/4 pm ET.

To participate in the Nightingale stress test, interested players can request access on the game’s Steam page. Inflexion Games plans to invite players in batches as the test progresses, aiming for all signed-up players to be able to join.

During the stress test, players will experience a tailored version of Nightingale’s early game, featuring upgraded tools, gear, and unlocked recipes equivalent to the first 10 hours of gameplay. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to engage in co-op gameplay with friends, subject to server stress levels.

Inflexion Games emphasized that the stress test will not be under NDA, allowing players to create content, share videos, and discuss their experiences. However, they request that content creators clearly indicate that their content is based on the stress test, not the full release.

The decision to run the stress test for a short duration was explained by Inflexion Games as a strategy to simulate launch conditions and evaluate server performance under a high player influx. This final public test will precede Nightingale’s early access launch on Steam on February 22.
