Nightdive Studios is set to bring a thrilling experience to horror gamers with the remastered version of The Thing, a third-person survival horror shooter approved by legendary filmmaker John Carpenter. The exciting news reveals that the remastered game will be available on various platforms including Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch later this year.

The original game, released in 2002 by Computer Artworks and Black Label Games, was a hit among players on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. Fans were left longing for a sequel that never materialized, making the upcoming release of The Thing: Remastered even more anticipated.

The remastered version boasts impressive features such as 4K resolution at 120FPS, updated character models, textures, animations, and advanced 3D rendering for enhanced lighting and atmospheric effects.

Notably, Nightdive Studios has a solid track record in the remastering realm, having successfully revamped classics like Quake, Doom 64, and the Turok series.
