Exciting news for Pokémon GO Trainers in Germany as Niantic announces a special event in conjunction with the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship. The ‘UEFA Euro 2024’ event is set to begin today and will run until July 14th, 2024.
During this event, players will have the opportunity to participate in Timed Research that will allow them to encounter Voltorb and Voltorb Bacny. Additionally, Trainers will receive increased experience from their first spin of a PokéStop each day.
As part of the event, new official routes are being added to various cities in Germany including Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, and Stuttgart. It’s important to note that this event is exclusive to players located in Germany.
