A recent study conducted by researchers at Tohoku University has unveiled a fascinating discovery in the realm of astronomy. The study, which focused on the HSC-SSP area, revealed the presence of numerous satellite galaxies surrounding the region. These satellite galaxies were previously unknown and have now been identified through the use of advanced technology.

Using a combination of satellite data and cutting-edge observation techniques, the researchers were able to pinpoint the location of these satellite galaxies. Known satellite galaxies were denoted by black squares, while the newly discovered ones were marked by white triangles and stars, as depicted in Figure 3.
