New Restaurant ‘Soup ‘n Fresh’ Brings Back Comfort Food Nostalgia to Rancho Cucamonga

A new restaurant, ‘Soup ‘n Fresh,’ is bringing back the comfort food nostalgia to Rancho Cucamonga, rekindling the spirit of the beloved Souplantation. The family-run establishment, located in the same building as the now-closed Souplantation on Foothill Blvd. and Vineyard Ave, is serving up all-you-can-eat soup, salad, and pizza, much to the delight of patrons yearning for a taste of the past.

Brian Lopez, co-owner of Soup ‘n Fresh, expressed astonishment at the overwhelming demand, stating that people are traveling from various places like Oceanside and the San Fernando Valley to visit the restaurant.

The closure of Souplantation’s 44 restaurants in 2020 due to FDA-mandated COVID guidelines left a void in the hearts of many loyal customers. However, the emergence of Soup ‘n Fresh seems to be filling that void, evoking a sense of nostalgia and culinary satisfaction.

As the restaurant continues to attract patrons seeking the familiar and comforting flavors of Souplantation, it stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of cherished culinary experiences.
