New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Returns for 8-Day Celebration in 2024

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is set to return on April 23, 2024, for an extended 8-day celebration of live music, local food, arts, and crafts. The festival, known for being one of New Orleans’ largest and most consistent economic drivers, is expanding to 8 days for the first time this year, featuring a special performance by The Rolling Stones on May 2.

With a lineup that includes headliners such as The Rolling Stones, The Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, and Vampire Weekend, the festival promises a diverse range of acts across all eight days and dozens of genres. The event is expected to feature over 500 local bands and performers, offering attendees a customizable experience.

While the full day-by-day schedule, known as the cubes, is yet to be announced, anticipation is high for the return of beloved food vendors who opted out of the 2023 event. The festival is also set to feature various pro tips, including recommendations to stay hydrated, dress appropriately, and utilize the available amenities.

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is a highly anticipated event that not only showcases a stellar lineup of musical performances but also contributes significantly to the local economy. As the festival approaches, excitement continues to build for what promises to be an unforgettable celebration of music, culture, and community.
