New Nintendo Switch Releases

It’s been a relatively quiet week for the Nintendo Switch, with a handful of new releases and re-releases hitting the platform. Among the new additions are Tools Up! Ultimate Edition, The Spy Who Shot Me, Arcade Game Zone, and Shivering Stone.

Tools Up! Ultimate Edition is a co-op renovation party game that includes the original game, the Garden Party DLC with 45 levels, and a new PvP mode. The game has received mixed reviews, with a lukewarm 62% on Metacritic. Additionally, Metro Redux and Saints Row: The Big Purple Package have been re-released by PLAION, each priced at £23.99.

Other new releases include The Spy Who Shot Me, a faux retro parody FPS, Arcade Game Zone, a mini-game collection, Airport, a traffic management game, and Shivering Stone, a snow-covered block shoving puzzler reminiscent of classic games like Boxxel and Sokoban.

Looking back at last week, Nihon Falcom’s 1985 side-scrolling RPG Xanadu was re-released at the affordable price of £5.39. The original version of the game sold over 400,000 units in Japan, making it a significant success for its time.
