A highly anticipated new featurette for the upcoming big-screen adaptation of the beloved musical ‘Wicked’ has just been released, giving fans a glimpse into the casting process of the film. Directed by Jon M. Chu, known for his work on ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ and ‘In the Heights,’ the movie stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo in the lead roles of Glinda and Elphaba.
‘Wicked,’ a renowned stage production, delves into the untold story of the witches of Oz, focusing on the unlikely friendship between the green-skinned Elphaba and the golden-haired Glinda. As students at Shiz University in the Land of Oz, their lives take different paths after an encounter with the Wizard of Oz, leading to unforeseen consequences and adventures that shape their destinies as Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
