New England Revolution II Prepares for Inaugural Game in Manchester, NH

New England Revolution II is gearing up for an exciting milestone as they prepare to play their first home game outside of Gillette Stadium in Manchester, NH. The team will face off against Inter Miami II at Southern New Hampshire University’s Mark A. Ouellette Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 3 pm on Sunday.

One of the team’s newcomers, Gevork Diarbian, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming game, highlighting the importance of community support. Diarbian mentioned, ‘I think it will be good for that part of New Hampshire, just for everyone to come out and support us. I feel like when we play at Gillette there are a couple of people but not too many people around so I think this will be very good for us.’

For the Revolution II players, the game will bring a different experience as they will be staying at a local hotel the night before the match. Following Saturday’s clash between the Revs and Inter Miami, the team will head north for the game in Manchester.

Sunday’s match marks the beginning of a series of eight games that Revs II will play in Manchester, NH. This trial run could potentially lead to more games in the area if successful.

Having played in front of large crowds in his previous stints with Vermont Green FC and Providence College, Diarbian emphasized the importance of passionate supporters. He stated, ‘The fans give us that energy, that extra boost when you’re tired. When you hear them and when you see them in the background, you want to push more obviously for the team and for the fans as well.’

While building a solid fan base in New Hampshire may take time, there is optimism that local supporters will turn out to back the team in a more intimate setting. Diarbian expressed the team’s eagerness to win games and attract fans, noting, ‘We want to do everything we can to win games and attract people to come support us. Hopefully the fans can come support us because we need them and without them, I don’t think we’re going to be as successful.’

Revolution II’s inaugural game in Manchester is set for Sunday, Apr. 28 against Inter Miami II at 3 pm. Fans can purchase tickets for the game and stay updated on professional soccer in New Hampshire through the team’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
