New AI-Supported Binoculars Unveiled at CES

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this year, a new pair of AI-supported binoculars was unveiled, promising to revolutionize wildlife watching. The Swarovski Optik AX Visio binoculars, designed by Marc Newson, are equipped with artificial intelligence that can identify over 9,000 species of birds and mammals, making them a must-have for nature enthusiasts.

During a test at CES, the smart binoculars demonstrated their capabilities by accurately identifying a bird species within seconds. The integrated operating and object-recognition system, along with the onboard neural processing unit, powers this impressive feature. Additionally, the binoculars boast a 10×32 magnification with a 1,000-yard field of view, ensuring a crystal-clear image.

Furthermore, the AX Visio binoculars come with a 13MP camera and a 1080p video recorder, allowing users to capture stunning wildlife moments. The images and videos can be wirelessly transferred to the Swarovski Optik Outdoor app on a smartphone, enhancing the overall user experience.

One of the standout features of these smart binoculars is the built-in GPS, which aids in identifying wildlife based on the user’s location. Moreover, the ‘Share discoveries’ function enables users to guide their friends to specific sightings through arrow markers that appear in the viewfinder.

Despite their exceptional capabilities, the Swarovski Optik AX Visio binoculars come with a hefty price tag of $4,799, making them a luxury investment for passionate wildlife watchers. The product is set to hit the market in February, offering enthusiasts a new tool to enhance their nature exploration experiences.
