Netflix Announces Baki Hanma vs. Kengan Ashura Crossover Anime Premiere on June 6

Netflix has announced a thrilling collaboration anime, Baki Hanma vs. Kengan Ashura, during its stage event at AnimeJapan 2024. The highly anticipated crossover anime is set to premiere on Netflix on June 6, featuring the return of main leads Nobunaga Shimazaki as Baki Hanma and Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Ōma Tokita.

The anime, described by Netflix as a groundbreaking crossover between the series ‘Baki Hanma’ and ‘KENGAN ASHURA,’ is expected to make a significant impact. This marks the first-ever anime adaptation of Yabako Sandrovich’s Kengan Ashura manga, which initially premiered on Netflix in July 2019. The second part of the anime’s second season is scheduled to debut on Netflix in August.

Kengan Ashura, illustrated by Daromeon, was launched in the Manga ONE app in 2012 and concluded in August 2018, with a new arc commencing in January 2019. Meanwhile, Baki Hanma, based on Keisuke Itagaki’s Hanma Baki – Son of Ogre manga, is the third Baki series on Netflix and a sequel to the Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen series.
