NC State Wolfpack Secures Victory Against Wake Forest

North Carolina State University’s basketball team, the Wolfpack, secured a victory against Wake Forest on Tuesday night, with a final score of 83-76. The game, which took place in Raleigh, N.C., was marked by a tumultuous atmosphere, resulting in four ejections.

DJ Horne led the Wolfpack with 21 points, supported by Ben Middlebrooks with 14 points, Jayden Taylor with 12 points, and DJ Burns Jr. with 10 points. Mohamed Diarra also contributed significantly with eight points and 13 rebounds.

On the opposing side, Andrew Carr stood out with a career-high 28 points for Wake Forest, accompanied by Kevin Miller’s 21 points, shooting an impressive 15 of 15 from the free-throw line, and Hunter Sallis with 12 points and seven boards.

Following this victory, the Wolfpack has achieved their best start in ACC play since the 1988-89 season.

The game was not without its controversies, as NC State coach Kevin Keatts was ejected from the game in the first half for his confrontation with a referee. This incident occurred when Keatts expressed his discontent with a no-call foul, resulting in a double technical and his subsequent ejection.

Despite the challenges, NC State managed to stage a comeback in the second half, ultimately securing the win, even without making a single 3-pointer throughout the game. The Wolfpack dominated the paint, outscoring the Deacs 50-30 in that area.
