Mother Mother Release New Single ‘Nobody Escapes’

Canada’s biggest alt-rock export, Mother Mother, has unveiled their latest single ‘Nobody Escapes’ from their highly anticipated new album, Grief Chapter, set for release on February 16th via Warner Records/Parlophone.

The band’s vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist, Ryan Guldemond, described the single as a cheerful yet poignant reflection on the indiscriminate nature of death, emphasizing that it comes for everyone, regardless of status or appearance.

The track is accompanied by an animated video that complements the song’s theme, portraying a sinister factory where freshly fallen souls are crudely sorted through by conveyor belts and machinery.

‘Nobody Escapes’ follows the lead single ‘Normalize’, introduced alongside an intense video directed by acclaimed horror director, Colin Minihan. This was succeeded by the uplifting ‘To My Heart’ and the future-facing ‘The Matrix’, featuring dreamy keys and swooning vocals.

Mother Mother is gearing up for an extensive world tour in 2024, commencing in the UK on February 17th in Sheffield. The tour will cover various cities in the UK and Europe, including Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin, Newcastle, Leeds, London, Nottingham, Cardiff, Brighton, and Birmingham.
