Mordhau, the popular medieval multiplayer melee game, is celebrating its five-year anniversary with a devilish twist in a brand new game mode. The latest patch for Mordhau introduces Demon Horde mode, a revamped version of the old horde mode that brings demons into the fray, adding a new level of challenge and excitement for players.
Known for its mix of grim comedy and realism, Mordhau has always been a unique gaming experience. With the introduction of demons in the new game mode, players will now face an invasion from the hellish side of reality, battling through updated maps overrun by fell magics and devilish intrusions. The mode features a series of objectives culminating in a final battle where players must work together to fend off the demonic forces.
One of the key updates in the Demon Horde mode is the Prestige system, which adjusts the difficulty level based on player performance. The mode also introduces new weapons, including the blunderbuss, and allows players to bless their weapons at Altars for added abilities and damage. With reworked skill trees, new enemies, and fantasy-inspired cosmetic DLC, there is plenty for players to explore and enjoy in this new game mode.
In addition to the game mode update, Mordhau is hosting a five-year anniversary event from April 29 to May 13. Players who participate in the event will receive special rewards such as a new banner and emblem, along with bonus gold and experience during gameplay. To top it off, Mordhau will be on sale for 66% off on both Steam and the Epic Games store during the event period, giving players the perfect opportunity to dive into the medieval mayhem.
