Millions Await Total Solar Eclipse Across North America

Millions of spectators across the country eagerly awaited Monday’s celestial sensation — a total eclipse of the sun. In Hawaii, a partial eclipse was first spotted from East Oahu just before 7 a.m.

According to experts, the eclipse began at approximately 6:33 a.m. in Hawaii and peaked at 7:12 a.m. It’s expected to last until approximately 7:54 a.m. Meanwhile, a total solar eclipse began in the middle of the Pacific and it’s expected to sweep across North America.
