Millie Bobby Brown’s Damsel Claims Top Spot on Netflix

Millie Bobby Brown is once again making waves on Netflix with her latest film, Damsel, which has quickly risen to the top of the English film charts and claimed the title of the most-watched title of the week from March 4 to March 10. In just three days of availability, the film recorded an impressive 35.3M views, surpassing its competitors and securing the No. 1 spot in 79 countries.

Starring alongside Robin Wright and Angela Bassett, Damsel’s success has overshadowed other popular films, including Code 8: Part II, which held the top position last week but now lags behind with a fraction of the viewership.

Joining Damsel in the Top 10 films are Spaceman, maintaining its position at No. 3 with 10.8M views, and Tyler Perry’s Mea Culpa, ranking No. 5 with 5.1M views. On the TV front, The Gentlemen claimed the top spot with 12.2M views, while the renewal of Avatar: The Last Airbender for two more seasons propelled it to second place with 9.1M views.

Despite its initial success, Avatar’s viewership is showing signs of decline, a common trend for series with simultaneous release of all episodes. The show currently has approximately 50M views, with a possibility of surpassing The Witcher Season 1, currently holding the 10th place, if it gains over 30M more views before its premiere window ends.

Other popular content this week includes True crime and reality dating series, with The Program: Cons, Cults and Kidnapping securing the third spot with 7.1M views, and American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders claiming No. 7 with 2.4M views. Love is Blind Season 6 and One Day also maintained their positions on the list, with 3.4M and 3.1M views, respectively.

It’s clear that Millie Bobby Brown’s star power and compelling storytelling have once again captivated audiences, solidifying her status as a force to be reckoned with in the world of entertainment.
