Metallica to Headline Fortnite Concert in Musical Collaboration

Metallica, the iconic heavy metal band, is set to headline Fortnite’s upcoming concert in a groundbreaking musical collaboration with the popular game. The event, titled ‘Metallica: Fuel Fire Fury,’ will be available for players to experience during specific time windows later this month.

Fortnite, known for its diverse in-game events, has previously featured musical acts such as Eminem, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, and Marshmello in virtual concerts. With Metallica taking the spotlight, the band will not only perform in the main concert but will also be integrated into various aspects of the Fortnite ecosystem.

Starting on June 13th, Metallica will be the highlight of the Fortnite Festival, succeeding Billie Eilish. Additionally, a new ‘Thrash Mountain’ track will be introduced in Rocket Racing, further expanding the Metallica experience in the game. Players can look forward to seeing Lego versions of all four members of the band making an appearance as well.

Fortnite’s current season features a postapocalyptic theme reminiscent of Mad Max, complete with a wasteland biome and vehicular combat. Meanwhile, Lego Fortnite has recently received an update introducing two new difficulty modes: cozy and expert, adding more excitement to the gameplay experience.
