Met-Ed employees have successfully conducted their annual emergency preparation drill to test their storm restoration process in response to severe weather that may cause outages across Berks and eastern Pennsylvania. The drill involved employees from both the company’s Muhlenberg Township headquarters and remote locations, aiming to ensure readiness for restoration duties and review critical storm-management tools.

Met-Ed, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp., serves around 592,000 customers within a vast area of eastern and southeastern Pennsylvania, covering Reading and much of Berks County.
