Are you ready to indulge in a sweet and unconventional breakfast? Ice Cream for Breakfast Day is just around the corner, falling on the first Saturday of February every year. This year, on Feb. 3, several restaurants in Massachusetts are joining the global festivities to celebrate this delightful occasion.

Flayvors of Cook Farm in Hadley is hosting an “International Ice Cream for Breakfast Day” event from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Guests can choose from a selection of waffles, French Toast, or a cinnamon roll topped with the farm’s homemade ice cream. The event will also feature gluten-free waffles and a variety of delicious side dishes. While in-person dining is available, the business encourages online orders for a convenient pickup experience.

Meanwhile, Putnam Pantry Candies, Ice Cream & Cafe in Danvers will be hosting their annual ice cream for breakfast event from 7:30 a.m. to noon. For just $10, guests can enjoy two scoops of ice cream between a Belgian waffle, accompanied by a choice of delectable toppings. Moreover, 50% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Care Dimensions Hospice House, so it’s a great opportunity to savor ice cream for a good cause.

Looking for one last stop? Head to West Side Creamery in Athol between 8 a.m. and noon for their made-to-order cinnamon roll sundaes featuring limited-edition flavors and toppings such as fruity pebbles and cinnamon bun. Additionally, Ghirardelli hot chocolate and coffee from Acton Coffee House will be available. For those who prefer to stay in, a take-home cinnamon roll sundae kit is also an option to enjoy breakfast in bed.
