Lockly Introduces Groundbreaking Smart Lock with Facial Recognition at CES 2024

The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is where the latest and most innovative tech gadgets are unveiled, and this year, Lockly has introduced its groundbreaking smart lock, the Lockly Visage, equipped with facial recognition technology. Priced at $349, the Lockly Visage is set to revolutionize home security by offering a seamless and futuristic way to unlock your front door.

With the Lockly Visage, users can now unlock their doors with a simple glance, similar to unlocking a smartphone. This cutting-edge smart lock is being showcased at CES 2024, marking a significant advancement in home security technology.

Aside from facial recognition, the Lockly Visage also features a fingerprint reader and is compatible with Apple’s Home Key, providing users with multiple high-tech entry options. This multifaceted approach to home security sets the Lockly Visage apart from traditional smart locks, offering a blend of convenience and advanced security features.

While facial recognition has been integrated into video doorbells, the Lockly Visage is the first consumer smart lock to incorporate this technology. With the ability to store up to 100 face profiles, the Lockly Visage allows for seamless access for friends and family, making the entry process truly hands-free.

Moreover, the lock’s design exudes a futuristic aesthetic, reminiscent of the popular film ‘Minority Report.’ Utilizing binocular facial recognition through two 2MP-resolution IR sensors, the Lockly Visage can unlock the door as the user approaches, with an impressive response time of under 1.5 seconds within a range of 2.6 feet.

In addition to facial recognition, the Lockly Visage offers alternative access options, including a digital keypad, RFID key cards, and traditional keys. Furthermore, the lock can be controlled remotely via the Lockly smartphone app, enabling users to manage access and monitor their front door from anywhere.

For seamless integration with smart home systems and voice assistants, the Lockly Visage is compatible with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant, ensuring a connected and streamlined home security experience when it becomes available later this year.
