Litten Community Day Event Set to Take Place on March 16

Pokémon Go enthusiasts are in for a treat as the Litten Community Day event is set to take place on March 16 from 2-5 p.m. local time. During this event, players can expect Litten to spawn in large numbers with an increased chance of encountering shiny versions. Additionally, there are several other bonuses and perks to look forward to.

According to research from The Silph Road, the shiny rates on Community Days are approximately 1 in 24. This means that dedicated players who engage throughout the three-hour window should have the opportunity to capture multiple shiny Pokémon. For those with limited time or resources, using Incense and quickly checking each Litten for shininess before moving on can be an efficient strategy. Notably, Litten that have already been checked will face the direction of the player, aiding in identifying which ones have been inspected.

Furthermore, evolving Torracat into Incineroar between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time will result in it learning the charged move Blast Burn. Players who miss this window may have another chance during a Community Day weekend event in December. Alternatively, an Elite TM can be used to acquire the move without waiting.

In terms of its performance in the Pokémon Go meta, Incineroar may not be a top choice for PvP due to its fragility. However, as a fire- or dark-type attacker in raids, it holds its own. Equipping it with Fire Fang and Blast Burn for a fire-type moveset, or Snarl and Darkest Lariat for a dark-type moveset, can enhance its effectiveness. Despite the existence of stronger Shadow Pokémon and Legendaries, Incineroar remains a valuable asset for contributing significant damage in raids.

For players looking to maximize their experience during Litten Community Day, taking advantage of the active bonuses and perks will be crucial. Stay tuned for an exciting and rewarding event!
