Lightspeed Studios Appoints Industry Veteran Michael Pattison as Vice President of Publishing Division

Lightspeed Studios, a prominent player in the gaming industry, has recently made a strategic move by appointing industry veteran Michael Pattison as the vice president of its publishing division for PC and console. This decision marks a significant development for the company, bringing in a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the field.

Pattison’s impressive background includes holding senior positions at major companies such as THQ and Capcom. His expertise was further honed during his tenure at Sony Interactive Entertainment, where he oversaw third-party publishing, developer relations, and global marketing. His valuable contributions at Sony led to his appointment as the CEO of Team17 in 2021, where he served for two years before transitioning to a consulting role.

Steve C. Martin, the vice president of Lightspeed, expressed his enthusiasm about Pattison joining the team, highlighting the veteran’s expertise as a crucial asset in driving innovation and delivering top-notch gaming experiences to a global audience.

Lightspeed Studios is currently focused on the development of ‘The Last Sentinel,’ an ambitious open-world AAA title. The project is being spearheaded by the Lightspeed LA team, led by industry veteran Steve Martin, known for his previous work at Rockstar.

This strategic appointment underscores Lightspeed’s commitment to enhancing its position in the gaming market and delivering compelling gaming experiences to players worldwide. With Michael Pattison at the helm of the publishing division, the company is poised to make significant strides in the PC and console gaming space.
