Liam Hemsworth Revealed as New Geralt in The Witcher Season 4

The highly anticipated season 4 of The Witcher has unveiled Liam Hemsworth as the new face of Geralt of Rivia. The exclusive first look, shared by Entertainment Weekly, showcases Hemsworth’s portrayal of the White Wolf of the Continent. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich expressed excitement about Hemsworth’s dedication and embodiment of the character, praising his scruffy beard and iconic scar.

Following leaked paparazzi photos from the set in the U.K., fans can now witness Hemsworth’s interpretation of Geralt, a role previously held by Henry Cavill. Cavill, known for his portrayal of Superman, bid farewell to The Witcher in 2022 to pursue other projects, leaving the stage for Hemsworth to step into the shoes of the beloved character.

In a statement, Cavill graciously passed the torch to Hemsworth, acknowledging the depth and complexity of Geralt’s character. Hemsworth’s arrival adds to the returning cast, including Freya Allan as Princess Cirilla, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Joey Batey as Jaskier.

Additionally, Laurence Fishburne joins the ensemble as the fan-favorite Regis, hinting at intriguing plot developments in season 4. With production underway, fans are eagerly anticipating the new season and the fresh dynamics that Hemsworth’s Geralt will bring to the series.
