Let Me Solo Her is back and helping people defeat Shadow of the Erdtree’s most annoying boss
Back when Elden Ring first released, one of the end-game bosses proved to be near impossible for players to defeat. Malenia was a brutal and unrelenting fight, and pretty hopeless at times too. Step up ‘Let me solo her,’ the benevolent player offering up their service to defeat her, all on their own. The YouTuber is back, and Messmer is the next target.
Just last week, Klein, the player behind Let Me Solo Her, defeated Malenia for the last time on stream. It marked the end of one of the most wholesome eras in gaming history, and one that has spawned an impressive brand with nearly 500,000 followers.
Klein’s final fight with Malenia ended with tributes pouring in from viewers, most of whom were lamenting that they were watching history being made. It ended pretty similarly to other victories against Malenia too, with a humble courtesy to the Host of Fingers, with enough hints that Let Me Solo Her will be returning to fight against Messmer.
Despite the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion not having been out that long, Let Me Solo Her has already kick-started a new campaign defeating Marika’s son. Compared to Malenia, who is not exactly a final boss, but rather an optional one, Messmer is not the final boss of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion – we’ll save that for you to find out.
Messmer is a particularly difficulty boss to defeat, and you will fight him in two phases. The demigod is two times the size of a normal human, and his second phase is an extremely unforgiving fight. Fighting him without any summons is incredibly difficult, but not for Let Me Solo Her apparently. Conveniently, we also have our own ways of defeating Messmer.
