Lego to Release Animal Crossing Sets Featuring K.K. Slider and Dodo Airlines

Lego is set to bring summer vibes to fans of Animal Crossing with the release of two new sets featuring K.K. Slider and iconic elements from the popular game. The sets, which are scheduled to launch on August 1st, include a fall-themed Town Hall and a Dodo Airlines airport.

The announcement was made by Lego through its official X account, showcasing K.K. Slider in action along with a sneak peek of the new sets. While the K.K. Slider minifigure doesn’t sing or move, fans can still enjoy his presence in the Town Hall set, which also features Isabelle and Audie, as well as a small truck, snack stand, and foliage to enhance the concert setup.

The second set is a detailed replica of the Dodo Airlines airport, complete with a control tower, dock, and airplane. Although it may not cater to turnip-hungry visitors, the set includes minifigures of Wilbur and Tangy, adding to the charm of the collection.

Despite the excitement surrounding the new releases, details such as pricing and the number of pieces have not been disclosed yet. Earlier collaborations between Lego and Nintendo resulted in five other Animal Crossing sets, priced between $14.99 to $74.99, with piece counts ranging from 164 to 535.

With Lego continuing to cater to fans of all ages, the latest offerings are sure to delight both nostalgic adults and younger enthusiasts alike. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting additions to the Lego Animal Crossing collection.
