Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s Daughter Fin Makes Debut with New Name

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s 15-year-old daughter, formerly known as Seraphina Rose, has made a significant debut with a new name, Fin. The teenager unveiled the new identity at a memorial service for Jennifer’s father, William Jack Garner, last weekend. Fin, sporting a black pantsuit and a buzz-cut hairstyle, introduced themselves with the new name and read a bible verse at the Christ Church United Methodist in Charleston, West Virginia.

Although Fin had been seen with the new haircut since February, the memorial service marked the first public introduction with the new name. The service, which was live-streamed on Facebook, provided a platform for Fin to present themselves as Fin Affleck and share a verse from the Book of Proverbs.

As the middle child of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, Fin has an older sister, Violet Anne, 18, and a younger brother, Samuel, 15. The family, despite the divorce of their parents in 2018, continues to maintain a cordial relationship. Jennifer Garner announced the passing of her father on Instagram, expressing gratitude for his gentle demeanor, quiet strength, and work ethic.

Ben Affleck, who remarried singer Jennifer Lopez in 2022, has been supportive of his children, including Fin, as they navigate their teenage years. The public acknowledgment of Fin’s new name at the memorial service has sparked discussions about identity and self-expression within the family and the broader community.
