The 6-foot-2, 215-pound right-hander, who missed the previous season due to a stress fracture, delivered an impressive performance in his first start for the Red Raiders.

Washburn’s comeback was highly anticipated after his absence from the game due to a shoulder injury. His debut as the No. 3 starter in the Shriners Children’s College Showdown showcased his resilience and skill as he pitched nearly 80 pitches, contributing to the 22nd-ranked Red Raiders’ victory over Oregon at Globe Life Field.
