iQOO has officially announced the upcoming launch of the iQOO Neo9S Pro, set to take place on May 20. This new smartphone is anticipated to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display and will be powered by the Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
Compared to its predecessor, the Neo9 Pro, the Neo9S Pro will introduce a new white color variant while maintaining a similar design. Additionally, iQOO has hinted at the introduction of a green color option for the device, showcasing intricate patterns on the rear panel.
Expected specifications of the iQOO Neo9S Pro include a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with HDR10+, a refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 144Hz, and a peak brightness of 1400 nits. It will be powered by the octa-core Dimensity 9300+ 4nm SoC coupled with Immortalis-G720 GPU. The device is expected to offer 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM along with storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB using UFS 4.0 technology.
On the camera front, the iQOO Neo9S Pro is rumored to sport a 50MP primary camera with a large 1/1.49″ IMX920 sensor and OIS, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, it may feature a 16MP front-facing camera. The device is also expected to include in-display fingerprint sensor technology and an infrared sensor.
Connectivity options on the iQOO Neo9S Pro could encompass 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and more. The device is likely to pack a 5160mAh battery with support for 120W ultra-fast flash charging.
