Introducing the SV Rover: Scarbo Vintage’s Latest Off-Road Powerhouse

The SV Rover, a supercharged 1,100bhp Bowler Wildcat, is the latest creation by Scarbo Vintage, based in southern California. This monstrous vehicle, offered in both traditional and electric versions, redefines off-road capabilities with its formidable design and power.

Featuring a two-seat, rear-mid-engined, four-wheel drive layout, the SV Rover offers two powertrain options: a 1,100bhp supercharged V8 with an eight-speed automatic transmission or a 1,005bhp electric alternative. Both options provide an unprecedented level of power, surpassing even that of a Bugatti Veyron.

What sets the SV Rover apart is its adaptability, allowing drivers to switch between two-wheel drive, toggle between low and high-range gearing, and select differential bias. This versatility, combined with pushrod front and rear air suspension offering up to 30 inches of free travel, ensures exceptional performance in diverse terrains.

Complementing its performance, the SV Rover is equipped with substantial Brembo brakes, 40-inch tires, and a raw exterior design reminiscent of classic off-road vehicles. The vehicle’s imposing dimensions, flared arches, and robust construction, including carbon fiber and aluminum composite bodywork, exude an intimidating presence.

Despite its formidable exterior, the SV Rover offers a minimalist cabin with dual 12-inch displays and Alcantara seating. This design approach caters to the vehicle’s target audience, those who appreciate a seamless off-road driving experience.

Joe Scarbo, CEO of Scarbo Vintage, expressed enthusiasm for the SV Rover, stating, “The SV Rover represents a new extreme in terms of off-road power, maneuverability, and capability. We are thrilled to unveil this revolutionary vehicle, which combines the nostalgia of classic British design with modern American engineering.”
