Exciting news for travelers! AirPlay is now available in select IHG Hotels & Resorts properties, allowing guests to enjoy a personalized entertainment experience during their stay. This new feature enables guests to stream their favorite shows and movies on Apple TV+ and other streaming services, listen to music on Apple Music, view vacation photos, play games on Apple Arcade, and even workout with Apple Fitness+ on the big screen in their guest rooms.
More than 60 IHG properties in North America are introducing AirPlay today, with additional properties set to offer this feature in the near future. Guests can easily connect their iPhone or iPad to the hotel’s compatible LG TV and Wi-Fi network by scanning a unique QR code displayed on the screen. This seamless process ensures a private and secure content-sharing experience, with each QR code being specific to the individual hotel room.
AirPlay in hotels is compatible with iPhone Xs or later running iOS 17.3 or later, as well as certain iPad models running iPadOS 17.3 or later. This innovative feature enhances the guest experience, allowing travelers to make the most of their downtime while staying at IHG Hotels & Resorts properties.
