Hyatt Partners with Mr & Mrs Smith to Bring 700+ Boutique Hotels to World of Hyatt Loyalty Program
Hyatt’s latest partnership with Mr & Mrs Smith has officially launched, bringing over 700 boutique and luxury hotels to the World of Hyatt loyalty program. This move showcases Hyatt’s commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences for its members.
After acquiring Mr & Mrs Smith last year, Hyatt has now fully integrated the platform’s hotels into its booking channels. This strategic partnership comes at a time when Hyatt faces competition from other hotel chains like Hilton and Marriott.
Compared to Hyatt’s previous partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) which included around 350 properties, the addition of more than 700 Mr & Mrs Smith hotels signifies a significant expansion for World of Hyatt members. This is just the beginning, with plans to include even more high-end properties in the future.
Amy Weinberg, Hyatt’s senior vice president of brand, loyalty, and data, expressed the company’s dedication to enhancing guest experiences and rewarding travelers for exploring unique destinations around the world. The partnership with Mr & Mrs Smith opens up opportunities in over 20 new countries, broadening Hyatt’s global footprint.
Notable properties included in the partnership are Zannier Hotels Sonop in Namibia, offering a luxurious camping experience with only 10 tented suites perched on boulders in the Namibian desert. This collaboration brings diverse vacation options, from secluded treehouses in the Arctic Circle to jungle villas overlooking Pacific waters.
With Hilton’s recent partnership with SLH starting with approximately 100 hotels, Hyatt’s collaboration with Mr & Mrs Smith demonstrates its commitment to providing a wide range of high-quality accommodation options for travelers worldwide.
