Newly released police bodycam footage has captured the moment when Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, was arrested for a DUI after ‘almost running over a cop’ in Clearwater, Florida. The chaotic scene unfolded as Nick’s girlfriend, former porn star Tana Lea, aggressively confronted the police in an emotional outburst.
The 33-year-old TV personality, officially named Nicholas Bollea, was pulled over at about 1 am for allegedly speeding past three police cars stopped at an intersection, clocked at a speed of 51 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. The officers reported that Nick reeked of alcohol with ‘bloodshot’ and ‘glassy’ eyes, showing signs of impairment.
Footage shows Nick refusing to take a breathalyzer and participating in a field sobriety test, which he reportedly failed. He vehemently denied drinking, claiming his breath smelled like alcohol because he was kissing his girlfriend. Despite struggling with the sobriety test, Nick remained calm and respectful, referring to the officers as ‘Sir’ throughout the incident.
His father, wrestling star Hulk Hogan, officially Terry Gene Bollea, arrived on the scene to aid his son as he was being cuffed by an officer. Meanwhile, his girlfriend, Tana Lea, broke down in tears during the arrest.
