Hinterland Music Festival Unveils 2024 Lineup

Hinterland Music Festival in St. Charles has just unveiled its highly-anticipated 2024 lineup, promising a star-studded event set to take place from August 2-4. Despite the current wintry conditions in Iowa, music enthusiasts can look forward to a scintillating summer festival experience.

The brainchild of Des Moines-based concert promoter Sam Summers, Hinterland Music Festival has garnered considerable attention in recent years, having previously hosted acclaimed artists such as Bon Iver, Maggie Rogers, and Zach Bryan. The festival has become a prominent fixture in the region’s cultural calendar.

Presale tickets for the event will be available from January 18 at 10 a.m. on hinterlandiowa.com, offering eager fans the opportunity to secure their spots at this highly-anticipated festival.

Headliners and Lineup

Day one of the festival will be headlined by the iconic Andrew Hozier-Byrne, widely known as Hozier, whose soul-stirring track ‘Take Me to Church’ propelled him to international stardom. With the release of his latest album ‘Unreal Unearth’ in 2023, Hozier’s performance is expected to be a major highlight of the event.

Joining Hozier on the first day will be the enigmatic masked country singer Orville Peck, along with other talented acts including Minneapolis band Hippo Campus, singer-songwriter Sam Barber, folk-indie act Josiah and the Bonnevilles, the unique ‘folk misfit’ Odie Leigh, and the soulful Debbii Dawson.

The second day of the festival will be taken over by the longstanding alternative band Vampire Weekend, renowned for their chart-topping hits and acclaimed albums. Joining them on stage will be the immensely popular singer-songwriter Lizzy McAlpine, country performer Charley Crockett, Alabama-originated act Red Clay Strays, Los Angeles singer-songwriter Madison Cunningham, folk-rock group Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners, the captivating Sabrina Teitelbaum, and the talented Hans Williams.

Day three will see the return of the sensational Noah Kahan, known for his hit ‘Hurt Somebody’ and his meteoric rise to fame, largely fueled by his presence on TikTok. Joining Kahan will be the Philadelphia quintet Mt. Joy, and singer-songwriter Ethel.

The 2024 lineup for Hinterland Music Festival promises an electrifying mix of established and emerging artists, setting the stage for an unforgettable musical extravaganza.
