Helldivers 2 Patch 01.000.300 Introduces Major Balance Adjustments

Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead has recently rolled out a significant patch, Patch 01.000.300, for the game, introducing major balance adjustments to weapons, stratagems, enemies, and missions. This update comes as a relief to players of the popular PlayStation 5 and PC co-op shooter, addressing various gameplay issues.

One of the key changes in Patch 01.000.300 is the reduction of burning damage by 15%. This tweak was much needed as the increased burning damage had been causing chaos among players, affecting both allies and enemies. With this adjustment, challenges on planets like Hellmire, known for its fire tornados, are expected to become more manageable.

Moreover, armors with a rating exceeding 100 will now also decrease damage from headshots. Additionally, victory poses will now be exclusive to the extracted, preventing what Arrowhead humorously refers to as ‘stolen valor’ on the ship.

The update also includes modifications to various weapons. For instance, the RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher, which had been causing disruptions, now features a quickfire change to address its impact. It will no longer detonate when fired near stratagems such as HMG turrets, Sentries, and Resupply points.

Players are encouraged to review the detailed patch notes for further insights into the adjustments made in Patch 01.000.300. These changes aim to enhance the overall gameplay experience and ensure a more balanced and enjoyable environment for all Helldivers 2 enthusiasts.
