Heart Media Group to Launch ELLE Malaysia in September 2024

Heart Media Group is set to reinforce its status as Southeast Asia’s premier luxury media publisher with the upcoming launch of ELLE Malaysia. The groundbreaking inaugural edition of ELLE Malaysia, to be published in Bahasa Melayu, is scheduled to hit the stands in September 2024.

Yesterday, Lagardère Group announced Heart Media Group, under the leadership of Olivier Burlot, as the new licensing partner for ELLE in Malaysia. This marks the first time that the title will be published in Bahasa Melayu. The announcement follows the highly successful debut of ELLE Singapore, featuring Singaporean actress Chen Yixin on the cover, which sold out rapidly at Books Kinokuniya in Singapore.

François Coruzzi, CEO of ELLE International Licenses, expressed confidence in the partnership with Heart Media Group, stating that it will further the development of ELLE as a comprehensive brand in Malaysia. Burlot, in his statement, emphasized the significance of ELLE’s return to Malaysia, affirming its value as a valuable addition to Heart Media’s portfolio, catering to the demand for international high-quality brands targeted at women.

ELLE Malaysia will be spearheaded by a team fluent in Bahasa Melayu, enhancing the reader experience with a wide range of multimedia content covering fashion, beauty, lifestyle, culture, entertainment, watches, and jewelry. The online platform will provide daily news updates, reviews, how-to guides, and interviews, reflecting the brand’s distinctive essence.

Burlot highlighted that ELLE Malaysia is tailored for discerning women who embrace style across all facets of life while actively engaging in society. The magazine aims to scale as a multi-channel brand, bringing together top talents from the industry to embark on the next chapter of this iconic brand.

The debut issue of ELLE Malaysia is eagerly anticipated to make its debut in September 2024.
