Havaianas Announces Collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana for Limited-Edition Flip Flop Collection

Havaianas, the Brazilian footwear brand owned by Alpargatas S.A, has announced a new collaboration with the renowned Italian luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana. The collaboration will see the release of a limited-edition collection of flip flops just in time for summer.

The collection features some of Dolce & Gabbana’s most iconic prints, including the Leopardo, Zebra, Blu Mediterraneo, and Carretto Siciliano motifs. Each pair of flip flops will come with a printed velvet finish on the straps, a metallic Havaianas logo, and an exclusive pearly pin from Dolce & Gabbana.

According to Maria Fernanda Albuquerque, the vice president of global marketing at Havaianas, the collaboration was inspired by the blend of Brazilian summer vibes and Italian creativity. Albuquerque expressed that collaborations like this allow the brand to connect with diverse consumers and territories in an authentic manner, aligning with Havaianas’ strategic approach.

Diane Bekhor, the president of North America at Havaianas, emphasized the significance of collaborations in strengthening the brand’s presence in the fashion industry. She highlighted that partnerships with fashion brands like Dolce & Gabbana play a vital role in reinforcing Havaianas’ connection to the fashion world.

The packaging of the new collection will reflect Dolce & Gabbana’s signature style, featuring a combination of matte lamination, metallic prints, and golden details. This collaboration marks a significant global movement for Havaianas, showcasing the brand’s commitment to innovation and creativity in the footwear market.
