Hasselblad Unveils 907X Camera Body and CFV 100C Digital Back

Hasselblad, the renowned camera manufacturer, has unveiled its latest innovation in the form of the 907X camera body and the CFV 100C digital back. This new release is set to revive vintage camera gear and offer photographers unparalleled versatility in the medium format camera industry.

Compatible with a range of lenses including XCD, HC/HCD, V System, and Xpan lenses, the 907X and CFV 100C aim to provide photographers with a wide array of options for their creative pursuits. Moreover, the CFV 100C digital back can even connect to Hasselblad V System film camera bodies, such as the Hasselblad 500 and 200 series bodies, offering a seamless integration of vintage and modern technology.

When used with the 907X, the CFV 100C digital back offers advanced features such as phase-detect autofocus (PDAF) and face-detection AF. With 294 autofocus points covering 97% of the image area, photographers can expect the same level of autofocus speed and performance as the Hasselblad X2D 100C.

Furthermore, the CFV 100C boasts 1TB of built-in SSD storage, eliminating the need for external memory cards. Additionally, it is equipped with a CFexpress Type B card slot, supporting cards up to 512GB in capacity.

Notably, the CFV 100C shares similarities with the X2D 100C, including a maximum shooting speed of 3.3 frames per second at 14-bit and a 100-megapixel image sensor. The backside-illuminated CMOS sensor offers an impressive 11,656 x 8,742 resolution and a 3.76-micron pixel size, ensuring exceptional image quality.

With the release of the CFV 100C, Hasselblad continues to push the boundaries of camera technology, catering to the needs of professional photographers and enthusiasts alike. This latest offering further solidifies Hasselblad’s position as a leader in the medium format camera market.
