Halo Infinite Forge Mode Update: CU29 Revolutionizes Map-Making

Exciting news for Halo Infinite fans! Content Update 29 (“CU29”) is set to revolutionize the Forge mode, introducing a host of new features and tools to unleash the creativity of the community’s map makers. The update, scheduled for January 30, promises to bring a wave of fresh content to the game.

One of the most anticipated additions in CU29 is the Covenant object palette, expanding the creative possibilities for Forgers with over 70 new structures, primitives, accents, and decals. This update aims to provide a nostalgic touch by incorporating elements from the Halo universe, including the UNSC, Forerunners, Banished, and now, the Covenant.

Additionally, the Forge Mode Creator is set to make its debut, allowing players to script modes in the Node Graph, share them, and seamlessly integrate them with community maps. This feature is designed to streamline the sharing and playing of modes, while also freeing up map budget as mode logic will no longer come with a cost.

With the introduction of new assets such as the Mode Brain and Mode Prefab, the Forge Mode Creator is poised to enhance the overall user experience, making it easier for players to create, share, and enjoy custom modes within the game.

Stay tuned for the latest update to Forge in Halo Infinite, and get ready to explore the new features and tools that will take your custom map-making experience to the next level.
