Halloween Festivities at Mission Valley Mall

Exciting Halloween Events at Mission Valley Mall

As the fall season approaches, Mission Valley Mall is gearing up for a series of thrilling Halloween-themed events designed to entertain the entire community. From a pop-up Spirit Halloween store to a traditional pumpkin patch and an engaging Trick-or-Treat event, there are plenty of activities to look forward to this October.

Spirit Halloween Store

Currently open and running through the end of October, the Spirit Halloween store is set up in a tent located in the parking lot near Bank of America. As North America’s largest Halloween retailer, Spirit Halloween is your ultimate destination for all things spooky. Shoppers can explore an extensive selection of costumes and accessories for all ages, including infants, toddlers, children, tweens, teens, and adults. The store also features exclusive decorations and thrilling animatronics, making it a must-visit for Halloween enthusiasts.

The Spirit Halloween tent operates from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays throughout October. Whether you’re looking for the perfect costume or unique decorations, Spirit Halloween has something for everyone.

Pumpkin Station

Beginning on Friday, September 27, the Pumpkin Station will take over the Mission Valley parking lot closest to the freeway, near The Broken Yolk Cafe. This traditional pumpkin patch will offer a delightful experience for families, featuring fun rides, a petting zoo, and, of course, a pumpkin patch where visitors can pick their ideal pumpkin in preparation for Halloween.

The Pumpkin Station will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Ticket prices vary for individuals, families, and groups, providing an accessible outing for everyone looking to enjoy the fall festivities.

Trick-or-Treat Event

Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 31, as Mission Valley Mall invites families to participate in a fun-filled Trick-or-Treat event from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Children can visit participating stores to collect Halloween candy, with each store clearly marked for easy navigation. This exciting event is free of charge and does not require pre-registration, making it an easy and enjoyable outing for families.

In addition to the candy collection, the Trick-or-Treat event will feature a special performance by Trinity Theatre, a local performing arts company. The performance, titled “The Little Old Woman Who Was Not Afraid Of Anything” by Linda Williams, is designed for children ages 3 to 5 and will take place from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the outdoor stage in the AMC Court. While the performance is free, space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Families can pre-register by visiting the provided link.

After the performance, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the actors at the Trinity Theatre space located next to Outback, near the Target entrance. This interactive experience adds an extra layer of fun to the Halloween festivities.
