Gwen Stefani Addresses Divorce Rumors and Insecurities in Recent Interview

Gwen Stefani has addressed the ongoing divorce rumors surrounding her relationship with Blake Shelton, setting the record straight in a recent interview. In the interview for the relaunched print magazine released on April 9, the ‘Hollaback Girl’ artist revealed that any divorce rumors are simply ‘lies.’

Despite her strong bond with Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani admitted to experiencing moments of insecurity, which inspired her to write the duet ‘Purple Irises’ with the country music singer. She candidly shared her internal struggles, stating, ‘I had been going through those times where you’re questioning: ‘Oh my gosh, am I just getting older? Am I cute?’ In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what’s happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen. I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid.’

However, Gwen Stefani made it clear that her love for Blake Shelton is unwavering, emphasizing, ‘The truth is I am in love with my best friend, and all this s–t I’m thinking of in my brain, that’s all it is—I’m overthinking.’

Addressing the persistent rumors about their relationship, Stefani expressed that when two people are in love and share aligned values, external speculations hold no power. She dismissed the recent divorce speculation as ‘just lies,’ emphasizing the strength of their bond.

The couple’s love story began in 2014 when they met as coaches on ‘The Voice.’ Following their respective divorces, Gwen and Blake started dating in 2015 and eventually tied the knot in 2021. Their relationship has been characterized by mutual support and admiration, with Blake expressing his unwavering support for Gwen’s accomplishments in various fields.
