Genshin Impact Cloud Open Beta Launches in Select Regions

Exciting news for Genshin Impact fans in the US, Canada, Singapore, and several other regions as HoYoverse has just launched the Genshin Impact Cloud version as an open beta. This release comes hot on the heels of the Genshin Impact version 4.7 ‘An Everlasting Dream Intertwined’ update across all platforms.

Genshin Impact Cloud, now available in an open beta format, allows players in select regions to enjoy the game through real-time cloud streaming technology without the need to download the entire game client. Progression in the game seamlessly carries over when logging in, similar to other platforms.

Given that the iOS install size for Genshin Impact is nearly 30GB, the cloud version offers a convenient solution for players looking to save storage space while still enjoying the game. It will be interesting to see how the gameplay experience on the cloud version compares to the native version, especially on older devices.

Players in the supported regions can access the Genshin Impact Cloud Open Beta on the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android. Additionally, the official cloud client website provides access for PC users.

This release precedes the highly anticipated major version 5.0 update, which promises enhanced visuals. For those who prefer the native experience, Genshin Impact is available for free download on the App Store, Google Play, and PC platforms.

Players on iOS devices running iOS 14.5 or later can utilize PS5 and Xbox Series X|S controllers to enhance their gameplay experience. Genshin Impact has garnered critical acclaim, being featured as Game of the Week upon its release and receiving the 2020 Game of the Year award.

Are you excited about Genshin Impact Cloud? Will you be trying it out if you are in one of the supported regions?
