Fuerza Régida Set to Launch Inaugural Don’t Fall in Love Fest in San Bernardino
Fuerza Régida, a prominent name in the música mexicana scene, is gearing up to host its first-ever festival, the Don’t Fall in Love Fest, in their hometown of San Bernardino. Scheduled for November 2, the festival promises an exciting lineup featuring a blend of rap and música mexicana artists, headlined by Fuerza Régida and the acclaimed rapper Lil Baby.
This groundbreaking event is set to bring together a diverse array of artists, including Kodak Black, Sexyy Red, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Too $hort on the rap side. The música mexicana segment will showcase talents such as Luis R Conriquez, Xavi, Chino Pacas, Los Rieleros del Norte, Larry Hernandez, and Mi Banda el Mexicano.
The festival will feature two distinct stages: a main stage and a “Legends” stage, dedicated to legacy acts. Notable performers on the second stage will include Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Too $hort, Baby Bash, Lil Rob, and Los Rieleros del Norte. A special headliner for the Legends stage will be announced on October 7.
JOP, the frontman of Fuerza Régida, expressed his enthusiasm for the festival, stating, “I wanted to do something big for San Bernardino. I’m bringing hope to the city with this festival.” This sentiment reflects a desire to uplift the local community through music and celebration.
Tickets for the Don’t Fall in Love Fest are set to go on sale on October 4 at 2 p.m. PT, with pricing details yet to be disclosed. The festival marks a significant moment in Fuerza Régida’s ongoing success, coinciding with the conclusion of their Pero No Te Enamores tour, which includes additional performances across Southern California, Arizona, Illinois, and Nashville through the end of the year.
The festival also represents a personal milestone for JOP, who has long admired Lil Baby. In a previous interview, JOP expressed his aspiration to collaborate with the rapper, highlighting their shared American identity despite their different backgrounds. “I want a feature with Lil Baby. I respect the way he moves and the way he does his shit. He’s American, bro. I’m American. We just come from different places,” he remarked.
As the Don’t Fall in Love Fest approaches, anticipation is building among fans of both rap and música mexicana. The event promises to be a celebration of music, culture, and community, marking a new chapter for Fuerza Régida and their commitment to their roots.
