Fractal Design Unveils Mood PC Case with Fabric-Wrapped Exterior at Computex 2024

Fractal Design, a well-known company among PC enthusiasts, unveiled its latest creation, the Mood PC case, at Computex 2024. This new case, inspired by Scandinavian design, features a unique twist – a fabric-wrapped exterior reminiscent of the popular IKEA-style living room aesthetic.

The Mood PC case is a vertical chimney-style mini-tower that stands out with its super-clean exterior and woven synthetic cloth covering. This design choice adds a warm and inviting touch to the case, setting it apart from traditional metal exteriors. The fabric can be easily removed as a single piece, allowing for convenient access to the interior components.

Designed to accommodate Mini-ITX motherboards and SFX/SFX-L power supplies, the Mood case offers space for long two-slot-wide video cards and various storage options, including a 3.5-inch drive and two 2.5-inch drives. Additionally, the case supports a 240mm radiator under specific conditions, providing flexibility for cooling solutions.

When it comes to cooling, the Mood case includes a large 180mm fan at the top, with the option to install front fans for additional airflow. The case also supports CPU air coolers up to 114mm in height, catering to different cooling preferences.

Fractal Design’s Mood PC case combines functionality with a stylish design, making it a compelling choice for PC enthusiasts looking to add a touch of elegance to their setup. With its innovative fabric-wrapped exterior and versatile interior layout, the Mood case offers a unique blend of aesthetics and performance for modern PC builds.
