SQUAD UP FOR FORTNITE RELOAD

Get ready for a thrilling new experience in Fortnite with the launch of Fortnite Reload, a brand-new Battle Royale mode packed with classic weapons and locations, perfect for you and your squad! The exciting Reload mode is set to go live on Saturday, June 22, shortly after 2 PM ET.

In Fortnite Reload, squads will have the chance to reboot as long as one member remains standing. This 40-player experience takes place on a more compact map featuring well-known spots like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. Remember, if your entire team gets wiped out, it’s game over! Whether you prefer Battle Royale or Zero Build, the ultimate goal is to be the last squad standing.

LOCKED AND (RE)LOADED

Experience the Fill or No Fill Squads mode where making aggressive plays can be rewarding, especially with the automatic reboot feature. When the rest of your team is down, a lone squaddie must stay alert as their survival determines whether the game continues! Here’s how it works:

• When a player is eliminated, their individual reboot timer starts, and they will reboot at the end of the timer.
• Reboot timers begin at 30 seconds and increase to 40 seconds later in the match.
• Teammates can reduce reboot timers by 2 seconds by downing an opponent, 4 seconds by eliminating one, and 10 seconds by wiping out an entire squad.
• Players who are downed can choose to start their reboot timer immediately instead of waiting for a revive.
• As the match nears its end, reboots will no longer be available, meaning lost teammates won’t return.

Discover a variety of weapons in Reload including the Tactical Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, and Lever Action Shotgun. The compact island is easily traversable on foot, with no drivable vehicles but a range of unvaulted loot. Some of the returning items at the launch of Reload include Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, OG Heavy Shotgun, Tactical Submachine Gun, Infantry Rifle, Heavy Assault Rifle, Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.

Head to Tilted Towers at the center of the map for an action-packed experience. Earn Victory Crowns in Reload, which function similarly to the main Battle Royale or Zero Build modes. Upon reboot, players receive a common Assault Rifle and 100 wood (for Build mode only). On elimination, players drop Small Shield Potions, medium ammo, light ammo, shotgun shells, and 50 of each building material (for Build mode only), in addition to their inventory.
