Former Stadia-exclusive horror game Gylt makes its way to Nintendo Switch

Former Stadia-exclusive horror game Gylt has made its way to the Nintendo Switch, offering players a new platform to experience its eerie and tense gameplay. Developed by Tequila Works, Gylt follows the story of Sally, an 11-year-old girl on a mission to find her missing cousin, Emily. The game presents players with a series of puzzles and oddities as Sally navigates through a strange and dangerous version of her town.

Originally released as a Stadia-exclusive title, Gylt has now been digitally released on the Nintendo Switch, with a physical version set to hit the shelves in May. The game has garnered attention for its delicate horror elements and unique gameplay mechanics, offering a compelling experience for players.

In a review by Eurogamer, writer Vikki Blake noted that while Gylt may play it safe at times, it introduces new gimmicks and mechanics as players progress, providing an engaging and enjoyable puzzling experience. Blake emphasized that despite its eerie and tense atmosphere, Gylt is not just for kids, catering to a broader audience with its compelling gameplay.

For those interested in diving into the world of Gylt, the game is currently available on the Nintendo eShop for £26.99. After its initial release on Stadia, Gylt has expanded its reach, making its way to PC, PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One following Stadia’s shutdown last year.

With its arrival on the Nintendo Switch, Gylt continues to captivate players with its unique blend of horror and puzzle-solving, offering a gripping gaming experience for those seeking a captivating adventure.
