Former Nickelodeon Co-Stars Support Drake Bell After Abuse Revelations

Former Nickelodeon co-stars Josh Peck and Nancy Sullivan have come forward to offer their support to Drake Bell after his revelations in the docuseries ‘Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.’ In the series, Bell disclosed that he had been sexually abused by former dialogue coach Brian Peck during his time as a young Nickelodeon star.

Josh Peck, known for his role as Bell’s stepbrother on the popular television show ‘Drake & Josh,’ took to Instagram to express his solidarity with Bell and other survivors who have spoken out about their experiences of abuse while working on Nickelodeon sets. He emphasized the importance of protecting children and bringing about necessary changes in the industry.

Bell later confirmed Peck’s support in a TikTok video, acknowledging the emotional difficulty of the situation and urging the public to be understanding. Another co-star from ‘Drake & Josh,’ Nancy Sullivan, who portrayed Bell’s mother on the show, also responded to the ‘Quiet on Set’ docuseries.

The revelations in the docuseries have shed light on the alleged inappropriate work environments in the entertainment industry, prompting discussions about the need for safeguarding young actors and addressing systemic issues. The support from former co-stars like Peck and Sullivan serves as a testament to the solidarity within the Nickelodeon community and the determination to advocate for positive change.
